This high quality, British made Mortice Sashlock is an excellent choice for external doors requiring a High Security 5 Lever Lock. This version is supplied in KEYED ALIKE format - please refer to the information under the 'Keying' tab above.
Tested and certified to the current BS3621 standard for high security locks and recommended by insurance companies and the police for external doors in residential and commercial settings. The lock features a 20mm throw solid brass deadbolt with hardened steel anti-saw rollers, hardened steel anti-drill side plates and 5 pick resistant levers. Suitable for self-sprung lever handle furniture on backplate, or on rose with seperate keyhole escutcheons. The latchbolt is site reversible to suit left or right hand hung doors. Certified to BS3621 and recommended by insurance companies and the police. CE/UKCE certified and fully compliant for use on FD30/FD60 fire rated timber door sets when used with appropriate intumescent material. Manufactured in Britain by Guardian Lock & Engineering.
Recommended for door thicknesses from 44mm to 54mm.

This upright mortice sashlock is suitable for FD30/FD60 rated doors in light to medium use settings. For full compliance on fire doors, this lock MUST be fitted with appropriate intumescent material on both door and frame.
This lock is medium sprung and should only be used with lever handle furniture with integral springing in the rose or backplate. NOT recommended for use with door knobs or ring handle furniture.

These locks are supplied in KEYED ALIKE format (Keyed to Pass), whereby groups of locks are operable by the same key.
Groups may consist of any number of locks and can include a mixture of lock types from the same product range - see 'Related Items' below.
Important: Orders for keyed alike locks will be supplied with all locks in one passing group. For projects requiring multiple passing groups please contact us to discuss your requirements.
To keep this mortice lock in optimum working condition we recommend a once yearly application of light machine oil (3 in 1). Wipe clean with an oil impregnated cloth.
