This tubular mortice latch is suitable for FD30/FD60 rated doors in light to medium use settings. For full compliance on fire doors, this latch MUST be fitted with appropriate intumescent material on both door and frame.
This latch is medium sprung and should only be used with lever handle furniture with integral springing in the rose or backplate. NOT recommended for use with door knobs or ring handle furniture.

To keep this tubular mortice latch in optimum working condition we recommend a once yearly application of light machine oil (3 in 1). Wipe clean with an oil impregnated cloth.
