A superior quality, British made 3 Lever deep horizontal mortice lock providing a medium level of security for internal doors and specifically designed for use with door knob furniture. The lock has traditional case dimensions similar to many older patterns so it can normally be used as a direct replacement with little or no additional joinery work or making good required. Knobs are positioned away from the door edge to avoid rapping knuckles against the frame and the medium sprung, two-way action is particularly suitable for heavier door knobs and ring handles. This version will position the centre of the door knob 127mm from the door edge. Incorporating a heavy duty solid brass latchbolt for superior performance this lock is an excellent choice for both high quality residential and heavy use commercial applications. CE/UKCE certified and fully compliant for use on FD30/FD60 fire rated timber door sets when used with appropriate intumescent material.
Recommended for door thicknesses from 35mm to 54mm.

This horizontal mortice privacy lock is suitable for FD30/FD60 rated doors in high-use settings. For full compliance on fire doors, this product MUST be fitted with appropriate intumescent material on both door and frame.

These locks are supplied "to differ" (individually keyed) with 2 keys per lock. If required, we can supply these locks in passing groups operated by the same key ("keyed alike" or "keyed to pass") to special order - please contact us for details.
To keep this horizontal mortice lock in optimum working condition we recommend a once yearly application of light machine oil (3 in 1). Wipe clean with an oil impregnated cloth.
