Parliament hinges are a traditional method of hanging doors that are required to clear obstructions when opening beyond 90°. This heavy duty version will provide 102mm projection at 180° and is suitable for heavier doors up to 80kg. These hinges are suitable for FD30/FD60 rated doors weighing up to 80kg based on fitting 3 hinges. For full compliance on fire doors, these hinges MUST be fitted with appropriate intumescent liner pads behind the hinge leaves on both door and frame.

To keep these hinges in optimum working condition we recommend a once yearly application of light machine oil (3 in 1). Check hinges occassionaly for dirt and grease and wipe clean with an oil impregnated cloth.
