This version is manufactured from solid SUS304 stainless steel components and supplied with an intumescent liner kit making it suitable for FD60 rated unrebated flush fire doors up to 120kg.

These hinges are suitable for FD60 rated fire doors with an adjusted weight up to 120kg in residential or commercial settings based on fitting 2 hinges to a 2000mm x 1000mm door leaf. A third hinge is recommended for external doors and doors fitted with overhead door closers.

For best results on timber doors, Tectus hinges should be fitted using the appropriate Routing Template and Universal Milling Frame detailed in the 'Related Items' below.
Tectus hinges are virtually maintenance free and require little attention. However, it is wise to check the action of doors occassionaly and adjust the hinges if neccessary. Hinges can be wiped clean of dirt and grime with an oil impregnated cloth.
Simonswerk TECTUS hinges are non stock products and will normally need to be ordered in from the manufacturer.
Satin Stainless Steel - Small quantities are normally stocked in the UK with a lead time of 4 - 5 days. Larger quantities may take 3 - 4 weeks.
