Suitable for self-sprung lever handle furniture on backplate, or on rose with seperate keyhole escutcheons. The latchbolt is easily reversible on site to suit left or right hand hung doors. Certified to BS3621 and recommended by insurance companies and the police. This upright mortice sashlock is suitable for FD30/FD60 rated doors in light to medium use settings. For full compliance on fire doors, this lock MUST be fitted with appropriate intumescent material on both door and frame.
This lock is medium sprung and should only be used with lever handle furniture with integral springing in the rose or backplate. NOT recommended for use with door knobs or ring handle furniture.

These locks are supplied "to differ" (individually keyed) with 2 keys per lock. If required, we can supply these locks in passing groups operated by the same key ("keyed alike" or "keyed to pass") to special order - please contact us for details
To keep this mortice lock in optimum working condition we recommend a once yearly application of light machine oil (3 in 1). Wipe clean with an oil impregnated cloth.
