This specially formulated graphite based powder will provide long lasting lubrication and smooth operation to lock cylinders with no oily residue to attract dirt and grime. Regular use will improve reliability and prevent wear of cylinder lock barrels, padlocks, vehicle locks and cam locks etc even in harsh, saline environments.
For best results, sprinkle some powder onto the key and insert into the cylinder. Turn a few times and then remove the key. Repeat every six months. Cylinders fitted in harsh coastal areas will benefit from a more frequent application.
We do not recommend oil based lubricants, such as WD40, for use with any type of cylinder lock. Typically, such lubricants attract dirt and small particles which can result in the sticking and seizing of internal component parts.
