Forming part of our "New Industrial" range the "Padstow" door handle is manufactured by Stonebridge Forge using a combination of traditional and state of the art techniques to produce a handle that is both highly functional and aesthetically pleasing. A popular choice for high quality joinery in both traditional and contemporary settings. This version is supplied on a 60mm round rose for use with tubular type mortice latches. The handle is self-sprung making it suitable for light-sprung or heavy-sprung latches.
The handle is finished in ARMOR-COAT® Flat Black which is an exceptionally hard wearing finish with a 30% sheen suitable for internal and external applications even in coastal areas
Use with tubular type mortice latches having an 8mm square spindle hole (UK standard size). The spindle supplied will suit doors up to 60mm thick.
Not recommended for use with full or square case latches or mortice locks as the handle fixing screws may foul the lock/latch body. If the intent is to fit this handle on a lockable door we recommend using a tubular latch plus a separate deadlock.
Lubricate immediately after fitting and periodically thereafter - at least twice yearly. Clean with an oil impregnated cloth to remove harmful deposits, especially when fitted externally.
Care should be taken when fitting to avoid damage/scratches around the fixing holes.
One pair of lever door handles as described (2 handles, one for each side of the door) complete with through spindle and suitable slotted round head fixing screws for wood.
These door handles are a non stock product and will normally need to ordered in from the manufacturer. You should therefore allow approximately 3 - 5 days for despatch.
