A Round Rim Cylinder Lock Barrel suitable for use with most "Yale" type UK rim nightlatch cases. Part of our Adapta Prime patented keyway cylinder range and ideal for applications in residential, commercial and industrial settings where a high degree of security against unauthorised key duplication is required - additional cut keys are only available against authorised signatures. In addition, the 6 pin tumbler mechanism provides excellent physical security against all common forms of attack including picking, drilling and bumping and is certified to the highest grades of BS EN1303 for durability and key security as standard. Use for new applications or as a retro fit product to replace old cylinders. This version is supplied "Keyed to Differ" - please refer to the information under the "Keying" tab above.
For best results and long life, this cylinder lock barrel should be lubricated with a specialist lock spray or good quality graphite powder. Do NOT use oils or WD40.
This cylinder is supplied "Keyed to Differ" whereby each cylinder is operated by it's own individual keys (2 supplied). Additional keys per cylinder can be ordered via the drop down list.
Successfully type tested for conformity to all of the requirements of BS EN 1303:2005 including the additional requirements for fire/smoke door use - certificates are available on request
Fire rating is only applicable to this product when fitted to timber based door assemblies of proven fire resistance as defined in BS EN1634-1 or BS476 Part 22:1987 and when used with suitably rated locks.
