The Excellence Lift-Lever Operated Multi-Point Lock from Nemef has been developed to meet the highest demands of security locks for domestic doors. The unique construction combines optimal security with durability and quality to provide the end user with a lock that is both comfortable and easy to use. Designed and manufactured specifically for timber doors and frames these high quality locks are manufactured to meet and exceed the latest CEN security standards and are accredited to the highest SKG standard.

Finished in corrosion resistant Silver and sold complete with the manufacturer's standard keep set.

  • Lift-Lever Operation:
    The central and upper/lower hookbolts are thrown internally or externally by lifting the door lever handle. The door is then locked by operation of the lock cylinder barrel. Unlocking of the door is by reverse action. Depending on the requirement, lock cylinders can be key and turn type (external key/internal thumbturn), double cylinder (key both sides) or single cylinder (key one side only).
  • High Security:
    Nemef Excellence locks are manufactured and tested to the highest grades of current European and Dutch standards and have been included as part of complete door sets exceeding the requirements of PAS24.
  • 25mm Throw Solid Hookboltss:
    Solid forged brass anti ‘push-back’ upper and lower hooks locate behind the steel keeps for optimum security and help prevent forcing apart of the door and frame. The hardened steel main hook provides maximum strength and security in the centre of the door. All hooks are nickel plated for a smooth finish providing less resistance and easier engagement even on warped doors.
  • High Performance Central Gearbox:
    Tested to 100,000 cycles the sprung gearbox offers the lowest possible operating forces and helps prevent handle droop. The smooth operation and perfect closing of the Nemef multi-point lock provides increased sound and heat transference protection.
  • Corrosion Resistant:
    Nemef Ecellence locks have a protective surface coating in excess of EN 1670 : 2007 Grade 4 which is designated as ‘Very high corrosion resistance’
  • Weather Seal Compression Adjustment:
    Enhanced tapered hook design and adjustment in the keeps provides low operating forces. With ± 2mm adjustment it is possible to adjust for misalignment of the door during and after installation.

This lock is site reversible to suit left hand or right hand applications.

For optimum security this lock should be fitted with a TS 007 3 Star cylinder (see our ULTION Maximum Security range) or a TS 007 1 Star cylinder with 2 Star cylinder guard (see our Adapta Prime High Security range).

Lever handle furniture MUST be of a type that allows the handle to be lifted. Handle backplates should be compatible with the lock centres measurement and fixing centres measurements. Please refer to the relevant technical drawings.
