01 Mortice Door Latches for Knob Furniture & Ring Handles

Mortice latches are housed in the door edge & are normally operated by lever handles, door knobs or ring handles. The latches detailed in this section have been designed & engineered specifically for use with door knob furniture & ring handles. The deep backset measurements ensure knobs are positioned away from the door edge to avoid rapping knuckles against the frame & the light sprung, two-way action allows knobs to be turned easily in either direction. Heavier springing is available as an option on certain latches to suit extra heavy knobs & ring handle furniture.
