Traditionally fitted to early panelled doors, this larger size 'H' Hinge is a good choice for lightweight room doors, internal shutters and folding screens. Forming part of our "Black Ironmongery" collection this authentic hinge is manufactured in Britain by Kirkpatrick Ltd using time honoured techniques that have remained unchanged since the mid 1800s and should not be confused with the poor quality imported copies from other suppliers.
Finished in hard wearing Antique Black Iron, this Hinge is suitable for internal and external applications.

'H' hinges are designed to be fitted to the opening face of doors with both legs being visible when the door is in the closed position.
To keep these hinges in optimum working condition we recommend a once yearly application of light machine oil (3 in 1) to the hinge knuckles. Check hinges occassionaly for dirt and grease and wipe clean with an oil impregnated cloth.
