This British made High Security Euro Profile Cylinder Sashlock case is an ideal choice for quality residential or commercial projects and is available in a range of finish options to match our other ironmongery products. Use as an alternative to 5 lever locks on external entrance doors. The lock features a 20mm throw laminated steel anti-saw deadbolt and hardened steel anti-drill case. Certified to BS3621 and BS8621 when fitted as a set with a double cylinder or cylinder and thumbturn from one of our TS 007 1 Star or 3 Star cylinder ranges and the 3538.140 security escutcheon set detailed below. Offered with the option of "Standard Sprung" or "Heavy Sprung" handle follower and easily reversible to suit left hand or right hand hung doors. Approved for use on fire rated timber door sets in accordance with current regulations.
Select "Standard Sprung" for lever handles with integral springing in the rose or backplate or "Heavy Sprung" for handles described as being un-sprung. To avoid fixing screws fouling the latch body use handles with horizontally opposed bolt-through fixings or with backplates where fixings positions are adequately spaced. NOT recommended for use with door knobs.
Can be fitted to double doors with rebated meeting stiles when used with the rebate conversion set in the Related Items section below.

For best results and long life, this lock should be lubricated with a light machine oil at least once a year.
Certified to British Standard BS3621:2007 Thief Resistant Locks when used with appropriate cylinders and security escutcheons and successfully type tested for conformity to all of the requirements of BS EN 12209:2003 including the additional requirements for fire/smoke door use - certificates are available on request.
Fire rating is only applicable to this product when fitted to timber based door assemblies of proven fire resistance as defined in BS EN1634-1 or BS476 Part 22:1987 and when fitted with appropriate intumescent material.
