Polished Stainless Steel - Marine Grade 316 (PSS)Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel is an alloy of iron made with higher concentrations of chromium and nickel. Products manufactured from this material are incredibly hardwearing and offer extreme corrosion resistant properties, making them an excellent choice for salt-rich coastal locations, highly polluted city environments and for buildings where harsh cleaning agents may be used. Polished finished Marine Grade Stainless Steel has a bright, reflective high-sheen finish with subtle hues that works well in contemporary settings. Products fitted externally will benefit from an occasional wipe with an oily rag to remove dirt and grime deposits. Where items are not available in this finish we recommend using products in Polished Nickel or Polished Chrome, both of which offer a good match.  |
