Aged Polished Solid Bronze (APG)Solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. The metal is first aged and then re-polished to highlight the lighter surface areas against the darker, detailed parts. The finish is then protected by an application of a robust lacquer. Items in this finish may be used externally in normal settings if regularly cleaned and maintained. NOT recommended for use in coastal areas or other harsh environments. Clean regularly with a mild soapy solution to remove dirt, grime and acidic residues and apply a light application of a good quality beeswax polish. Where items are not available in this finish we recommend using products in Polished Bronze Unlacquered.  |
