The 3K74 range of High Security Mortice Sashlocks are probably the most well known and specified locks of their type in the British security market. Tested and certified to the current BS3621 standard for high security locks and recommended by insurance companies and the police for external doors in residential and commercial settings. Offering excellent protection against all common forms of attack, this lock features a positive 20mm throw solid brass deadbolt with hardened steel anti-saw rollers, hardened steel anti-drill side plates and anti-pick levers. Suitable for self-sprung lever handle furniture on backplate, or on rose with seperate keyhole escutcheons. The heavy duty sprung roller bolt latch makes this lock suitable for left or right hand hung doors without modification. CE/UKCE certified and fully compliant for use on FD30/FD60 fire rated timber door sets when used with appropriate intumescent material. Originally bearing the 'Chubb' name, this lock is manufactured in Britain under the Union brand name.
Recommended for door thicknesses from 44mm to 56mm.

Suitable for use on double doors with rebated meeting stiles when used with the appropriate [REBATE CONVERSION SET]
This upright mortice sashlock is suitable for FD30/FD60 rated doors in light to medium use settings. For full compliance on fire doors, this lock MUST be fitted with appropriate intumescent material on both door and frame.
This lock is medium sprung and should only be used with lever handle furniture with integral springing in the rose or backplate. NOT recommended for use with door knobs or ring handle furniture.

To keep this mortice lock in optimum working condition we recommend a once yearly application of light machine oil (3 in 1). Wipe clean with an oil impregnated cloth.
